A continuation of Love series…
Tired, broken and out of condoms.
How did this get so far? How did you become such a user?
You never had drugs a day in your life but you’re addicted. Addicted to the attention, the fame and the plethora of women.
You know your mother raised you better than that. To treat women with respect, putting them on a high pedestal and yet you have a different woman every night because you’re empty.
You can’t protect yourself anymore. You constantly contract Self-destructive Trauma Daily and no doctor is able to help you.
Taking responsibility isn’t your strong suit either. Blaming your mother for the men she had coming in and out of your life, the streets for the poor example of others like you and even God for putting you on this Earth.
I am sure you have tried to change and want to get better but don’t know how.
You are so used to living this lie, it’s become natural to you.
You don’t know what love is or even how to love. You have this wall up but your preferred race is Latinas. Yet you degrade the race of the womb you came from.
How did you get here?
Was the world so cold that you cant even learn to love yourself or even want to?
You are better than that.
You are King that is destined to rule.
Every day others like you are killed because of their greatness.
They are afraid of what you can become.
You are so afraid of being a statistic, that you sabotage yourself.
Your mother is hurting. The streets don’t care about you and never will. Your day one friends will leave you. All you have is yourself and God.
Healing is a long and difficult journey. Don’t give up at the sight of opposition.
The definition of masculinity and what society wants from you is false.
You have every right to be sensitive, to cry, to laugh, smile, and be angry.
Don’t give up hope.
As a black woman, I will stand for you. I will pray your pain away. I will support you in any way that I can. But please, don’t throw me away.
I am in your corner, helping you to the best of my ability.
You no longer have to be a Magnum. You can be raw and vulnerable.
You will succeed. You will make it. You are great.
